Le Bourgeois gentilhomme

Le Bourgeois gentilhomme

Between January and June 2013, I documented the work of a group of child-actors at the acting school “Langages et Expressions” (Beirut, Lebanon) while they prepared for a new staging of Moliere’s comédie-ballet “Le Bourgeois gentilhomme” by Valerie Vincent, from the very first reading to the opening performance at Monot Theatre. I also took a series of portraits of the actors in costume and in character.

The actors discover their roles and go through the script of the adaptation of Molière's "Le Bourgeois gentilhomme" for the first time.
